Paul Gofman a73a892f46 wined3d: Use software decompression for converting from compressed format. 
The motivation under this is not just supporting conversion between
compressed formats. Currently fallback CPU blitter cannot convert
from DXTn formats at all, this patch allows for that if software
decompression function is available.

Micah N Gorrell e08eb410ee ole32: Obtain stream size regardless of current position. 
Use STREAM_SEEK_END when attempting to determine the size of a stream
that clipboard data has just been rendered into. This corrects an issue
with Office 2016 where the current position of the stream is 0 while
rendering a target of image/png.

Paul Gofman 4907f2626c kernel32: Output a message in GetVolumeInformationW() when device has no read access. 
A lot of applications fail to install from CDs or mounted ISO images when Wine does
not return correct volume label from GetVolumeInformation() repeatedly asking to
insert correct disk. Most of the time it happens because the block device is read only
for user (which is typical default behaviour) and FS info cannot be read.
It looks like the hint about what went wrong will simplify things in this common case.

Zhiyi Zhang 427152ec7b winex11.drv: Fix NoRes mode handler having an empty mode. 
After 25167fb286 get_primary_monitor_rect()
returns an empty rectangle before X11DRV_DisplayDevices_Init() is called.
So use get_host_primary_monitor_rect() to get the current X desktop size.
It's also more intuitive this way.

After 25167fb286, get_primary_monitor_rect(),
which is used in is_window_rect_fullscreen(), may return the primary
screen size set by the last explorer instance if wineserver didn't
fully shuts down. Also get_primary_monitor_rect() no longer reports the
host primary monitor rect before virtual desktop initialization now.
So move the desktop fullscreen check after desktop initialization
so that primary screen size is updated and valid.

After 25167fb286, get_primary_monitor_rect()
maybe invalid before display device initialization or returns the desktop
rectangle after desktop initialization in virtual desktop mode, which is
wrong. The desktop size limit should come from host system.

This fixes a regression from efbbe66669.

Zhiyi Zhang 914b5519b1 winex11.drv: Use a separate virtual desktop display device handler. 
If we want to query host monitor dimensions, we need to use XRandR
or Xinerama handler. However when in virtual desktop mode, its display
device handler overrides other handlers. So we need to separate them.
Then we can implement features that require host monitor dimensions like
checking whether the virtual desktop window is fullscreen.

Rémi Bernon 9099b9843f user32/tests: Wait and flush messages after window creation.

Vincent Povirk cce9a5f124 msi: Use integers internally for MSIDBOPEN constants. 
This fixes a bug where some verions of mingw and probably gcc
assume that the result of pointer subtraction will be non-NULL,
causing MSI_OpenDatabaseW to break when given the mode
MSIDBOPEN_READONLY + MSIDBOPEN_PATCHFILE.

Zebediah Figura 2b29d02aa5 d3d8/tests: Flush events after sending SC_MAXIMIZE. 
For some reason, on fvwm2 sometimes focus_window will be restored and activated
between the subsequent call to SetForegroundWindow() and the next call to
ShowWindow(SW_RESTORE), causing the next test to fail. Flushing first seems to
reliably work around this.

llvmpipe is extraordinarily slow to execute glBeginQuery() [as much as 10ms per

Martin Storsjo fbda8db334 kernel32: Add a special case to EnumProcessModules for the local process. 
LLVM's libunwind uses EnumProcessModules for locating .eh_frame
sections when unwinding dwarf exceptions (used on i686).

When running wine in docker (without adding custom additional
permissions), EnumProcessModules currently fails as it uses
ReadProcessMemory, which requires the SYS_PTRACE capability.

The current implementation also is slower than necessary (by a
couple orders of magnituide), for accessing the current process.
Currently, unwinding 10000 exception throws with libunwind on i686
takes 24 seconds when run in wine, while it runs in less than 0.1
second with this patch.

Zebediah Figura cdeb55a8f9 strmbase/transform: Reimplement IQualityControl for the source pin. 
There is not enough common code between renderers and transforms to be worth
duplicating.

This fixes a regression introduced by db7eb3327. The wrong impl_from_*()
helper was used in IQualityControl::Notify().
