David Turner 4ef3ec7caa * README.UNX: updated the Unix-specific quick-compilation guide to
warn about the GNU Make requirement at compile time..

          src/type1/t1load.c, src/type1/t1objs.c,   src/type1/t1parse.c:

            added the new configuration file "ftstdlib.h" used to define
            aliases for all ISO C library functions used by the engine
            (e.g. strlen, qsort, setjmp, etc...)

            this eases the porting of FreeType 2 to exotic environments like
            XFree86 modules/extensions..

            also removed many #include <string.h>, #include <stdlib.h>, etc...
            from the engine's sources where they're not needed..

README

  Special note to Unix users
  ==========================

  Please read the file "README.UNX", it contains important
  information regarding the installation of FreeType on Unix
  systems, especially GNU based operating systems like GNU/Linux.

  FreeType 2.1.0
  ==============

  Please read the docs/CHANGES file, it contains IMPORTANT
  INFORMATION.

  Read the files "docs/INSTALL" or "docs/BUILD" for installation
  instructions.

  Note that the FreeType 2 documentation is now available as a
  separate package from our sites. See:

    ftp://ftp.freetype.org/pub/freetype2/ftdocs-2.1.0.tar.bz2

  Reports
  =======

  Please report bugs by e-mail to `devel@freetype.org'. Don't
  forget to send a detailed explanation of the problem -- there is
  nothing worse than receiving a terse message that only says "it
  doesn't work".

  Enjoy!
