How 20-inch Rims affect mileage? #48

So, my take on that stuff as far as fuel mileage, you do lose a bit of fuel mileage. Just because if you look at 20 inch rims, you can see how wide these tires are. So, the actual profile of them is a lot wider. They stick out from the body. They're flush with the body, whereas factory wheels tend to be more sunken in; they affect the mileage. If not too much, a little, but they do. So, with 24-inch wheels, mileage will be less than 17-inch wheels or even 20-inch wheels.
