Don't reregister ProgIds over and over, also write out the main key

before trying to register the Parent. This avoids loops if a ProgId

CSIDL_PROFILES is not defined in the Windows SDK.
snprintf and strcasecmp don't exist on Windows. Replace them with
wnsprintfA and lstrcmpiA respectively.
